PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) -- Prescott Valley police have released the identity of a 17-year-old boy whose fatal shooting is being called a homicide.
Police say Gabriel Calderon was found late Wednesday night with multiple gunshot wounds. The boy died Thursday at a Phoenix hospital.
Police say they're hoping to hear from anyone with information that may lead to an arrest in the case.

Boy, 17, killed in Prescott Valley shooting
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy in Prescott Valley.
Police officers and emergency personnel responded to the 8400 block of Tracy Drive for a report of shots fired shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to Sgt. Brandon Bonney with the Prescott Valley Police Department.
Officers found Gabriel Calderon with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center East Campus and later flown to Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix where he died.
Police are not releasing any further information as the investigation is ongoing.
