Bike Month
April is Bike Month in the valley and Mesa is doing its part to celebrate by hosting a Bike2Work & Earth Expo event from 6 - 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22
The event will be held in the Mesa City Plaza parking lot and is free to attend.

Public farmer's market
Cancer Treatment Centers of America's first-ever public farmer's market.
Twenty percent of the proceeds will go directly to Arizona Assistance in Health Care.

Child Abuse Prevention Month

Phoenix Children's Hospital will celebrate the first birthday of the first and only Down Syndrome Clinic in Arizona. With their inaugural fundraiser to support their down syndrome clinic.

Free Beatitudes Garden event
Join more than 20 dedicated Beatitude Campus resident gardeners as they harvest their spring crop of organic vegetables from their 21 raised beds. The vegetables are offered free weekly to all Beatitudes residents for free and any leftover vegetables are donated to two area food banks!

Gateway College host Earthday!
Gateway Community College will be celebrating Earth Day with multiple lunch time activities to turn off the lights and get outside. The college will have various recycling drives with collections for used batteries (no auto), electronics, shoes, textiles clothing, plastic bags and more. Also, a clothing swap will take place. All clothing not claimed in the swap is being donated to Goodwill. A mobile farmers market, will be on campus during the event selling fruit and vegetables.
