Police ID woman fatally shot in Phoenix

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are searching for suspects in a deadly shooting Friday night.

Police were called to 16th Avenue and Camelback Road shortly after 10 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

They found Donna Nez, 27, with an apparent gunshot wound, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos.

She was transported to a hospital where she later died.

Witnesses said they saw four men and two women running from the area after the shots were fired.
