BUCKEYE, Ariz. – A family is grieving after getting the news that a 51-year-old man was found dead in the West Valley.

The body of Mark Meginley was discovered along a road in Buckeye Wednesday afternoon.

Maricopa County sheriff's investigators have yet to say how he died but do say it was murder.

Meginley's brother said he's shell-shocked and saddened, to say the least.

Troy Meginley is the younger brother of Mark, who was found in a sleeping bag. The exact cause of death is under investigation, as is who killed him and why.

"We're all really upset still," Troy said. "Nobody is perfect in life. He had his faults. I guess the Lord will be looking after him from now on. He was a pretty good brother."

Cindy Slazenski found Meginley's body and called sheriff's deputies.

"I'm really sorry and I hope that if he was missing that it's good he was found," she said. "I'm really sorry that that happened."

Investigators do have some leads, but they're still looking into several possibilities surrounding them.
