PHOENIX -- It can be difficult to help kids have a fun, but healthy holiday. It's a good idea to start building healthful holiday traditions while they are young.

One way to do this for Easter is to help the Easter Bunny design gifts baskets that will get them excited about getting off the couch and enjoying this great weather. Less candy, more fun stuff.

Najla Kayyem, owner of SICFIT Scottsdale and mom of two, showed 3TV's Kaley O'Kelley some great ideas.

  • A jump rope
  • Frisbee
  • Nerf guns
  • Bubbles
  • Sidewalk chalk
  • Pool and water toys
  • Art supplies

SICFIT Scottsdale is hosting a free Healthy Easter Egg hunt Saturday. April 19 at 10:45 a.m. for kids age 3 to 12. Kids will hunt for eggs with fun exercises in them and then celebrate afterwards with some healthy treats.
