PHOENIX, Ariz. – A group ofabout three dozen activists made their way into Phoenix on Monday, but they didn’t travel by plane or car.

The activists walked from Los Angeles to Arizona as part of “Great March for Climate Action.” They started walking on March 1, and they will continue on to Washington, D.C., expecting to arrive on Nov. 1, in an effort to raise awareness for climate change.

A few members of the march spoke Monday morning about their cause and their trek with 3TV’s Jill Galus at Arizona State University’s west campus.
