PHOENIX -- Police are searching for the person who shot a man twice inside a South Phoenix home early Tuesday morning.
It happened at about 4 a.m. in the area 16th and Southern avenues.
Police are still trying to piece everything together, but they say there was a small group of people at the home at the time of the shooting.
The victim, who lives at the home, was taken to a local hospital. He is expected to recover.
The suspect fled the scene and remains on the loose. Police are not sure if he left on foot or in a car.
According to investigators, the witnesses are not saying much about what happened leading up to the shooting, nor are they identifying the suspect.
