PHOENIX -- Opening day will be a pleasant one for Valley baseball fans. After a mild but breezy weekend, look for similar conditions for the start of the new week.

A trough of low pressure will move through our region over the next few days, driving breezy to locally windy conditions. There is a Red Flag Warning in parts of the high country today for low relative humidity and winds that could gust up to 40 mph. The advisory is in effect for Winslow, Show Low and other spots across the high country between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. today.

In the Valley, look for southwesterly winds between 10 and 20 mph today. Under mostly sunny skies, we'll top out near 83 degrees this afternoon.

Tomorrow, look for partly sunny skies and a high of near 77 degrees.

There's a slight chance of rain on Wednesday, when temperatures will be a bit cooler in the low 70s. We'll warm to the upper 70s again by the weekend.
