CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -- Police are investigating whether a high school security guard and football coach accused of sending nude photos of himself to a student had sex with a different student.

John Leslie Beighey Jr., 23, was arrested Thursday after Casa Grande Union High School officials notified police of the alleged misconduct.

Beighey, a former student of the school, reportedly admitted to sending nude photos to a 17-year-old female student during summer 2013.

According to court documents, he also admitted to investigators that he had sex with a different student several times.

Beighey was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center.

He is being charged with furnishing harmful items to a minor, a class four felony.

Charges against Beighey for the alleged sexual conduct with a minor are pending further investigation, according to court documents.

A Casa Grande Union High School District official said Beighey may have sent inappropriate photos on multiple occasions.

The cellphones of both Beighey and the 17-year-old girl are awaiting forensic analysis, according to court documents.

The district promptly fired Beighey, who was working under a temporary contract and had not been employed at the school long, according to a district official.

"Once the school district was made aware of the alleged incident, we immediately contacted police. ... Beighey was immediately terminated effective yesterday," Superintendent Dr. Shannon Goodsell said in a statement Friday.

Parents told 3TV that Beighey should have known better.

"I'm furious even with that not even being my child," said parent Kalan Hall. "I would go insane if it was my own child."
