PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities have identified a woman who was critically injured in a multi-vehicle accident in north Phoenix that involved a city bus.

Phoenix police say 33-year-old Anna Marie Wasbotten remained hospitalized Thursday.

They say something happened to the vehicle she was driving and it hit the Valley Metro bus about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Peoria Avenue and Cave Creek Road.

Wasbotten's vehicle was cut in half in the collision and part of it struck another car.

Police say three people on the bus suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Authorities originally said one person was killed in the accident, but later announced that there were no fatalities.
