PEORIA, Ariz. -- The Peoria Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect who took drugs from two different pharmacies on the same day.

Police said the suspect gave a note to an employee at a grocery store pharmacy near 83rd Avenue and Cactus Road at around 2 p.m. on March 19. The note demanded specific narcotic pills and claimed the suspect had a gun.

The suspect left the store after receiving the pills and fled in a large black or dark-colored four-door sedan.

About 15 minutes later, the suspect went to a grocery store pharmacy near 89th Avenue and Bell Road. He again presented a demand note to an employee.

Once the suspect had the drugs, he left the area in the same vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 240 to 250 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a Pirates baseball hat, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Peoria police at 623-773-7045 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
