NOGALES, Ariz. -- A teen was arrested Tuesday after allegedly trying to smuggle more than a pound of methamphetamine across the Arizona-Mexico border in her underwear.

The 17-year-old girl was trying to enter the United States through the Morley pedestrian crossing in Nogales when she was selected for further inspection, according to Customs and Border Protection.

Auhtorities say they found $18,000 worth of meth in her underwear.

The drugs were seized and the teen was referred to to Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
