PHOENIX -- It looks like it will be a warm start to the new week ahead. After morning lows in the 50s across the Valley, we'll quickly warm to about 80 degrees by noon and to the upper 80s by the late afternoon.

High clouds are expected to stream in from the west for partly sunny skies. Partly cloudy skies overnight will keep temperatures mild and in the 50s across the Valley.

Tomorrow, we'll warm back to about 87 degrees again under partly sunny skies.

A storm system sweeps through the state on Wednesday. No rain is expected for the Valley, but strong winds could create areas of blowing dust. Look for winds out of the southwest at 10 to 20 mph with potential gusts up to 30 mph. While the front won't generate any Valley rain, it will drop temperatures a bit.

After highs in the upper 80s Monday and Tuesday, we'll be five to 10 degrees cooler by Wednesday and Thursday.
