CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Chandler police on Friday arrested an alleged serial flasher who they say is tied to incidents dating back to October 2012.

John Y. Kim, 41, of Chandler, was arrested on suspicion of numerous counts of public sexual indecency to a minor and indecent exposure.

About 8:30 a.m., a group of young women reported that a man had exposed his genitals to them near Hamilton and Erie streets in Chandler.

Based on the description of the man and his vehicle and the possible license plate provided, police located and arrested Kim near McQueen and Ocotillo roads shortly before 5 p.m.

Detectives say Kim is connected to at least three other incidents. The first incident was reported in October 2012 near Willis Junior High School in Chandler. The other two incidents were reported in February 2013, one near Ray and Frye roads in Chandler and the other near Alma School and Guadalupe roads in Mesa.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130.
