PHOENIX -- Your four-time ArenaBowl Champion Arizona Rattlers are kicking off their 2014 season on Saturday, March 15 at the U.S Airways Center in downtown Phoenix.

The Rattlers will be playing the Philadelphia Soul, which is the same team they've beat two years in a row for Arena Football championship rings.

"They're going to come here with a little bit of attitude," team president Joe Windham said Tuesday morning as he showed off his two championship rings. "We've got something for 'em. We're gonna make 'em stand right there and look up at the rafters when we drop the banner again."

If you're not familiar with Arena Football, Windham has a very simple description.

"It's everything you love about football -- concentrated," he said. "It's family friendly. It's a place where you can go and interact with your kids, have a good time, high five."

Kick-off is at 6 p.m. and tickets are already available for as little as $11 a seat.

The Arizona Rattlers are offering special season-ticket packages right now. A fan can grab four season tickets for as little as $90.

The Rattlers were founded in 1992. Since then, they have won eight division titles and played in eight ArenaBowl Championships game, winning the title in 1994, 1997 and back to back in 2012 and 2013.
