PHOENIX -- A woman was rushed to the hospital Monday night after she was struck by the light rail.
It happened around 9 p.m. at the light rail station near Washington and 38th streets in Phoenix. We're told that the woman had apparently been standing on the tracks when she was hit.
The train was reportedly going about 20 mph when it struck the woman.
The woman was taken to Maricopa Medical Center. Her condition is unknown.
Investigators remained on the scene, interviewing witnesses and looking into exactly what happened.
