PHOENIX -- Skies were clear Monday morning to kick off a new week of pleasant weather in the desert Southwest.
Morning lows dropped to the mid 40s in parts of the Valley, but temperatures are expected to warm to the mid 70s by lunchtime and the low 80s by late afternoon. Winds should stay light today, but breezy conditions could develop tomorrow and Wednesday.
A weather disturbance passing by to our north could drive some strong winds the next few days in the Lower Colorado River Valley in western Arizona. The Valley can expect 10-20 mph winds Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, along with passing high clouds and temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s through the rest of the workweek.
