PHOENIX -- A weak ridge of high pressure will keep the entire state dry and unseasonably warm heading into Monday.

In Phoenix, look for a morning low of 52 degrees with an afternoon high of 81 degrees. The normal high for this time of the year is 75 degrees.

On Tuesday, a relatively dry cold front will track across Arizona. Since the atmosphere is so moisture-starved, only a small chance of rain or snow showers exists in the high country. In the Phoenix-metro area, skies will remain mostly sunny with highs near 80 degrees.

The front will stall out and develop into an area of low pressure Wednesday through Thursday.

This will continue to bring a small chance of showers to the high country during this timeframe. It will also drop temperatures several degrees. Winds are expected to be breezy on Wednesday as well. Daytime highs in the Valley will reach the upper 70s.

By the end of the week, high pressure builds back into the region and temperatures in the Valley warm once again into the low and mid 80s under sunny skies through next weekend.
