Ariz. Game and Fish Outdoor Expo set for end of March

PHOENIX – The Arizona Game and Fish Department announced Friday that it will hold its Outdoor Expo on March 29 and 30 at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix.

The expo, which is open to attendees of all ages, will feature fishing tanks, archery target practice, shooting sports, a cowboy-mounted shooting competition, and a variety of wildlife.

There will be training sessions about local wildlife and game.

Fans can also learn about riding all-terrain and off-highway vehicles, camping, kayaking, and boating.

More than 150 vendors will be on site, including government agencies, conservation groups and commercial services.

Admission and parking are free.

Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
