Parada del Sol promises rodeo fun all weekend

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Parada del Sol Rodeo takes place Feb. 28-March 2 at WestWorld in Scottsdale. Bull Riding competitions start at 7 p.m. on Friday. Rodeo activities will be throughout the weekend.

Parada del Sol Rodeo events include bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, and barrel racing, along with other family fun.

Parada Del Sol will also host Rodeo Dances on Friday, Feb. 28, and Saturday, March 1 at 9 p.m. at Handlebar J. Located on the N/W Corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea.

Parada Del Sol is one the officially sanctioned rodeos in the country. This is the 61st year the rodeo will take place.

Parada del Sol is a non-profit corporation that provides financial and volunteer support to charities that provide heath care, resources, and community programs that benefit the underserved. Proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
