FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities in northern Arizona say an Avondale man is in custody in a possible road rage case and they're searching for the other driver.

Flagstaff police say 45-year-old Stephen Nolan has been booked into the Coconino County Jail on suspicion of aggravated assault.

Police responded to a report of an accident with possible gunshots fired about 7 p.m. Sunday.

Arriving officers found a pickup truck that had pulled off the roadway.

Investigators say Nolan was the driver of that vehicle and he allegedly fired shots at another vehicle.

Police now are trying to locate the other vehicle. It's described as a dark-colored, older model pickup truck with a white camper shell.

They say the vehicle may have front-end damage from the collision and possible bullet holes on the driver's side.
