PHOENIX (AP) -- An Iraqi man is set for arraignment on charges that he detonated a homemade explosive device outside a Social Security building in Casa Grande.

Abdullatif Aldosary is charged with multiple counts of attempted first-degree murder, arson and use of explosives after authorities say he detonated the device in November.

He also is charged with first-degree murder in the Nov. 27, 2012, killing of a man in Maricopa.

He has not yet entered pleas. His arraignment has been set for March 14.

This week, Aldosary was sentenced to five years in federal prison after being convicted on felony weapons possession charges.

Authorities say they found guns and ammunition hidden in his home while conducting a search after the explosion.

Aldosary isn't allowed to own firearms because of a previous felony conviction.
