GLENDALE, Ariz. – Glendale police are asking for the public's help in locating two suspects in a purse snatching at a Wal-Mart store.

Sgt. Jay O'Neill said two males in a white Cadillac approached the elderly victim as she was leaving the store near Union Hills Drive and 83rd Avenue at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 27.

As the vehicle drove past the woman, a Hispanic male leaned out of the passenger-side window, shoved the victim and forcibly removed her purse from her arm. The vehicle then sped off with the victim's purse.

The value of the purse and its contents is approximately $5,000 to $5,500.

O'Neill said the vehicle, which was captured on surveillance video, appears to be a mid- to late '90s Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Police have released the video and photos of the vehicle.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the vehicle or has any information about this crime can call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
