PHOENIX -- It's by no means chilly, but the Valley will see slightly cooler weather today.

After days of well-above average temperatures in the 80s, the Valley will top out near 76 degrees this afternoon.  While that's still a handful of degrees above average for this time of year, it will be our coolest day in the Valley in 11 days.

Expect sunny skies and lighter winds this afternoon with overnight lows dropping to the mid 40s to low 50s by tomorrow morning.

As a cold front moves away from Arizona, we'll slowly warm back up as high pressure builds back in over our region for calm and dry weather.

Tomorrow, look for partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.  We return to the low 80s over the weekend with partly sunny skies on Saturday and mostly cloudy conditions on Sunday.

No rain is expected for at least the next six or seven days.
