Body found along railroad tracks near Seligman ID'd as Kansas man

SELIGMAN, Ariz. – A body found along railroad tracks west of Seligman Monday morning has been identified as a Kansas man.
Randall A. Scott, 37, of Hutchinson, was identified from evidence found at the scene, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
A BNSF train crew discovered Scott's body in the Peach Springs area at approximately 4 a.m. Monday
Investigators determined that Scott was a passenger on a westbound Amtrak train. He boarded the train in Hutchinson and was scheduled to depart the train in Kingman.
Investigators do not know what caused Scott to exit the moving train at about 1:30 a.m.
YCSO detectives are working with officials from the Amtrak Police Department to trace Scott's movements and attempt to locate witnesses. Detectives have been in contact with Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials, who examined the train at Union Station.
