PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a man who robbed three Phoenix businesses at gunpoint in January.

The robbies occurred at Circle K, Mr. Wong's restaurant and El Amigo restaurant in a strip mall on 19th Avenue near Peoria Avenue on Jan. 2, 19 and 21.

On each occasion, the suspect reportedly engaged the clerk in conversation and then pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

He obtained cash from the register at each business and fled on foot.

The robber is believed to be a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old. He was described as being 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 120 to 130 pounds, and having a mustache and goatee.
