GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Weddings are expensive.  In 2012, the average wedding cost over $28,000 according to CNN. Goodwill of Central Arizona is hoping to make it more affordable for brides-to-be, by hosting its first ever Bridal & Formal Wear Boutique at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa on Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The event is free to attend.

3TV's Tess Rafols gave us a sneak peek.

Located at 9495 W. Coyotes Blvd. in Glendale, the boutique will have over 5,000 bridal gowns priced from $19.99 to $499 and over 700 bridesmaid dresses priced from $9.99 to $89.99.

Designer labels such as Alfred Angelo, Demetrios, Galina, Jessica McClintock, Jim Hjelm, Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, Nicole Miller, Vera Wang and Oleg Cassini will be available.

"The quality of the dresses and formal wear is incredible," said Jackie Halleen, vice president, retail operations at Goodwill. "Many of the dresses still have tags on them! It's going to give brides-to-be a unique opportunity to find a dress they may not have been able to find at a traditional retailer.  It's perfect for the DIY bride or the individual who wants to create a unique look by updating a vintage dress."

Accessories, veils, shoes, men's suits and tuxedos, as well as flower girl and ring bearer outfits will be available too.

Goodwill has been saving all donated bridal and formal wear for the past six months and has accumulated hundreds of beautiful, gently used dresses and accessories.

The event will also provide brides-to-be with an opportunity to meet with other wedding professionals such as photographers, cake vendors, and transportation companies.
