The grand prize includes a 2010 Smartcar equipped with high-tech equipment the students plan to use to cover district sporting events. Keene and his PSBN students have planned a special reveal of the vehicle at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Centennial High School.
The five seniors, Tim Litwiller, Yuriy Isparyan, Malik Farria, Jorge Flores and Isaac Keene, submitted an essay that qualified them as one of 10 finalists in December. They then submitted a video sharing why their school is the best. That video ultimately won the national contest.
