PHOENIX -- She is known for doing more for others than she does for herself. So on Monday's Good Morning Arizona, 3TV and Hair Pollution Salon made sure mom and three-time cancer survivor, Michelle, got a little pampering on our Monday Morning Makeover.

She admitted she was a little nervous. "I haven't had a big change for a long time," she says.

Michelle is a cancer survivor. "I had breast cancer in 2010," she says. "Then I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and colon cancer in 2012. Then I had all my surgeries. I almost died from the breast cancer."

Michelle's daughter, Melanie, submitted the letter to nominate her mom for the makeover. She says her mom is always helping everybody else and never takes time for herself.

Stylists went to work, cutting and styling Michelle's hair and bringing in some rich caramel highlights. They also polished her makeup, giving her a natural but glowing look.

"Wow!" Michelle said when she saw the final result. "I already told the girls that I will be back and they will keep this up for me, and I will keep the style up as much as I can."

Hair Pollution Salon is lcoated at 1524 E. McDowell Road in Phoenix.
