Phoenix weather: Sunny weekend ahead

PHOENIX -- The dry streak continues and a sunny weekend is ahead in Phoenix.

A storm system recently dropped a few sprinkles around town but no measurable rainfall at Sky Harbor Airport, bringing the Valley's dry spell to 49 days.

In the high country, the snow has ended as well. Flagstaff led the way with 3 inches of snow.

Below are some other snowfall reports issued by the National Weather Service's Flagstaff office. The snow was measured Friday morning and is presented in inches.

Flagstaff Airport -- 1.5 (5:01 a.m.)

Kachina Village -- 1.1 (7:40 a.m.)
