PHOENIX -- Get ready to see some first-class spinning, dribbling and other basketball tricks! The Harlem Globetrotters are kicking off their new "Fans Rule The World" tour in Arizona this week.

The exhibition basketball team combines athleticism, theater and comedy during performances. Over the years they have played more than 20,000 exhibition games in 120 countries.

On Wednesday's Good Morning Arizona, Scott Pasmore got to shoot around with Buckets Blakes, who went to Trevor Brown High School.

He said he first got interested in tricks when he was just six years old at the Boys and Girls Club. "I was just trying and trying and trying, and by the time I was nine I had it real good," he says.

Blakes is the one now encouraging kids to follow their dreams."I've always played a lot of sports," he says. "I lettered in football. I lettered in track and field. I told myself I was going to be a professional athlete. So I got the opportunity to live out my dream as a professional athlete playing for the Harlem Globetrotters."
