PHOENIX -- Temperatures across Arizona plummeted Tuesday morning in the wake of a storm Monday that left cooler air and partly cloudy skies.
Most Valley neighborhoods dropped to the low to mid-30s this morning. Look for a high of about 64 degrees this afternoon under partly sunny skies. Tonight, we'll likely see overnight lows just as chilly. Sky Harbor is forecast to see temperatures in the low 40s, but outlying areas, suburbs, will likely drop to the low 30s early Wednesday morning.
Afternoon temperatures will rise to the mid-60s through Thursday before another storm moves in late Thursday and early Friday. The Valley has a 20 percent chance of rain Friday with a chance of snow in the high country Thursday night through Saturday morning. Afternoon highs on Friday will only be in the low 60s. The weekend is looking a bit warmer and dry.
