GLENDALE, Ariz.-- A man was stabbed by his girlfriend's son Thursday night after he allegedly attacked the woman at her West Valley home, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Police officers were dispatched to an apartment on the 13600 block of North 51st Avenue just after 8 p.m. for a report of a cutting.

Officers determined the man entered his girlfriend's apartment through a window and then began assaulting her.

The woman's teenage daughter and son intervened, attempting to stop the assault, police said. The woman's son reportedly stabbed the man and left the apartment.

The man was treated at the scene and transported to a Valley hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
