PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a man who groped a woman while she was walking in a Phoenix neighborhood Thursday night.

The woman, who is in her 30s, told police she walking with a stroller near 16th Street and Bethany Home Road when the man grabbed her from behind. He reportedly wrapped his arms around her and groped her chest.

Police set up a perimeter in the neighborhood and called in a k-9 unit to help track the man.

A 10-year resident of the neighborhood, who did not want to be identified, said she has never heard of a similar incident happening in the area.

"It's a family neighborhood with lots of kids," she said. "But we're in the middle of the city. It's central Phoenix so anything can happen, but it's just a great neighborhood."

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 25 and 29.
