SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.  -- Scottsdale police say they have arrested three people at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Michael Allen Duran, 29, Vincent James Hendren, 30, and Evan DiGiovanni, 31, were arrested for allegedly harassing a female volunteer ROTC member.

The incident reportedly took place near the valet and cab lot.

The trio of men was reportedly observed walking on the sidewalk eastbound, yelling profanities at the security guards and displaying their middle fingers.

The 19-year-old victim was driving a golf cart westbound past the three males, when one of the men reportedly spit on her and yelled.

The victim is a member of her college ROTC and was dressed in a formal military uniform, volunteering at the golf event.

In addition to being spit on, the victim complained that one of the males had grabbed her arm earlier in the tent asking for a ride. When she refused, she told police one of the males sprayed a sports drink at her.

Officers say the males appeared intoxicated.

The men were contacted by officers, and a short time later were arrested for disorderly conduct, assault and failure to obey a police officer. They were booked into Scottsdale City Jail and released later pending a court appearance.
