Mesa Historic Home Tour set for this weekendPosted: Updated:
MESA, Ariz. -- The City of Mesa is getting ready to host its annual Historic Home Tour this weekend, and the event is bigger and better than ever, now featuring 17 stops.
"This house was built in 1917," Yetta Gibson found out, as she got a preview of one home on Wednesday's Good Morning Arizona. "It's only had four owners."
The 14th Annual Historic Home Tour in Mesa will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will showcase homes in the W. 2nd St., Westwood and Heritage Square neighborhoods. The tour will also include stops at the Mesa Grande Cultural Park, Mesa Historical Museum’s downtown location, Queen of Peace Church, Sirrine House and Irving School.
Tickets are $20. All proceeds benefit the Mesa Historical Museum. Until January 24, you can buy tickets online, or in person at the museum. On the day of the tour, you can buy tickets at the museum, and in the historic district. That day is cash only! If you need to use a card, be sure to buy your tickets at the museum.
