CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Chandler Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a theft suspect.
During the early morning hours of Jan. 2 and Jan. 20, the suspect broke into vending machines at a complex near Queen Creek and Dobson roads. In one case, the suspect also stole a 42-inch flat-screen television from a gym at the complex.
"He uses a drill to bypass the lock, puts on gloves and then takes the money from the machine," Sgt. Joe Favazzo said.
The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, short dark hair and facial hair.
Favazzo said there may be other locations where this suspect has committed similar crimes.
Police have released video and a photograph of the suspect. Anyone who recognizes the man or has any additional information is asked to call 480-782-4130.
