High-speed motorcycle ride ends at Goodyear Wal-Mart

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- A high-speed motorcycle ride along a Valley freeway came to an end at a Goodyear Wal-Mart just after 9 p.m. Monday.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the motorcycle driver was going up to 140 mph as he sped along Interstate 10.

Police followed him from a helicopter as he raced through town. The driver finally pulled into a Wal-Mart near I-10 and Estrella Parkway in Goodyear and went inside the store.

He was taken into custody a short time later. Police said he will be facing several felony charges.

No one was injured.
