Loomis Armored employee arrested in $24K theft from Goodyear ATM

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – An employee with Loomis Armored was arrested in connection with a theft from a Chase Bank ATM in Goodyear.

On Dec. 4, an internal investigator from Loomis Armored told Goodyear police that more than $24,000 in cash was missing from the Chase Bank ATM near McDowell Road and Pebble Creek Parkway.

Loomis Armored is contracted to deliver money to and from this bank location.

The investigator identified Jesse Doyle Marion, 23, as an investigative lead in the theft.

Detectives executed a search warrant for Marion's home on Monday.

Police spokeswoman Lisa Kutis said they found large sums of cash and newly purchased items in the home.

Marion was arrested and booked on theft charges.
