PEORIA, Ariz. -- Surveillance video shows a brazen robbery at a pharmacy in Peoria.

The robbery happened at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sun City Pharmacy near 91st Avenue and Thunderbird Road. The video shows the two suspects hopping the counter.

Peoria police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said one of the suspects grabbed the female worker and kept her from calling for help.

The suspects then had the employee point out drugs they wanted and placed the bottles in a large black duffel bag. The suspects opened the register and took the money from the drawer.

Police said the suspects didn't display a weapon but indicated they had one.

The suspects left the area in a white older model four-door passenger car.

The female employee was not hurt during the crime. She told 3TV "I'm OK," but had no further comment.

"It's unbelievable, especially right here, next to Sun City. We don't have that type of stuff," said Brian Scribner, who works at a salon in the same business complex.

One of the suspects was wearing a black ski mask, but police said he appears to be tall with a large build. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is a black male of average height and a thin build. He was wearing a black shirt with blue jeans and a red baseball cap with a Cincinnati Reds logo on it.

Peoria police need help in identifying the two male suspects. If you recognize the men in the video call Silent Witness at 480-648-6377 (480-WITNESS).
