Suspects sought in Phoenix jewelry heistPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Authorities are searching for three suspects in the armed robbery of a Phoenix jewelry store last month.
About 4:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, three people entered Gaston Jewelers on Bell Road near 35th Avenue.
One person was armed with two handguns, and the other two people damaged jewelry cases and stole the merchandise, according to Silent Witness Coordinator Sgt. Darren Burch.
The three people then fled the scene.
Authorities believe all three suspects are Black men.
The man armed with the handguns is believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, 6 feet tall, and 180 to 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a black sweatshirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.
The other men are believed to be between 18 and 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 150 to 170 pounds. One man was wearing a black sweatshirt and baseball cap. The other man was seen wearing a black T-shirt, a camouflage vest and white gloves. He was carrying a dark-colored backpack.
The suspects may have been driving a small, black four-door vehicle just before the robbery.

Burch said to be eligible for a cash reward, people must contact Silent Witness before the arrest or indictment of the suspects.
