PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a homicide suspect.

On Dec. 4, 2012, officers responded to the parking lot of a strip club near Thomas Road and 35th Avenue.

During the course of the investigation, homicide detectives discovered Darryll Mitchell, 52, was a victim of an armed robbery, which resulted in his shooting death.

Sgt. Steve Martos said investigators identified several suspects involved in conspiracy to commit this armed robbery. Three people were identified and booked on armed robbery and first-degree murder.

Investigators have been trying to locate the last suspect in this case. He has been identified as Rico Michael Conner, 34.

Martos said Conner was the driver and co-conspirator in the armed robbery.

Conner has been on the lam and has eluded capture.

Anyone with information as to Conner's whereabouts is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Homicide Unit at 602-262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS to remain anonymous.
