SEDONA, Ariz. (AP) -- Crews in northern Arizona continue to search for a hiker missing since last week near Sedona.

Coconino County Sheriff's officials say 22-year-old Thomas Lang was last seen Wednesday at the Manzanita Campground in Oak Creek Canyon.

Lang was carrying a sleeping bag, guitar and a backpack but didn't take a cellphone or food. He did have plenty of water and his family says he has no known medical issues.

Nearly 70 searchers were looking Tuesday for Lang along with a rescue helicopter and at least one dog team.

Authorities say Lang was dropped off at the campground around 11 a.m. Wednesday and his destination was along the Sterling Pass area of Oak Creek Canyon.

He was expected to return mid-morning Sunday. When he failed to show, his family called authorities.
