GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- A local teen found a creative way to highlight the dangers of texting and driving. Now, she's being honored for it.
Seventeen-year old Alexis Constable of Millennium High School in Goodyear took first place in a national video-making contest.
In her video, the text messages sent and received by the driver show up on the windshield, eventually blocking the driver's view entirely.
The online educational group I Drive Safely put on the contest.
Constable won a GoPro camera for herself and $2,500 for her school.
