TUCSON, Ariz. -- A man suspected of murdering two people in October killed himself Thursday, after stealing a car and leading police on a chase, according to Tucson police.

Hector Karaca, 24, allegedly fled a Tucson motel Thursday afternoon after the U.S. Marshals Service served a search warrant on the motel.

Karaca then reportedly stole a car at gunpoint in a mall parking lot.

Police said he led officers on a chase and lost control of the car, crashing into an alley. He then reportedly shot himself.

Karaca is accused of killing Jose Alonso Villa, 25, and Villa's 17-year-old girlfriend, Kristen Bianca Furgeri, on Oct. 21.

They were found dead in a small residence behind a home near 27th Street and Indian School Road.
