Reward offered to help identify armed robbery suspect

PHOENIX – A reward is being offered to help identify a suspect in an armed robbery at a Jack in the Box near Thomas Road and 59th Avenue in Phoenix.

According to police, the male suspect entered the fast-food restaurant at approximately 11:17 p.m. on Sept. 24 and jumped over the counter.

Silent Witness coordinator Sgt. Darren Burch said the suspect demanded money from the registers and the safe while threatening the employees with a handgun. He fled the restaurant on foot after obtaining cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall, and 150 to 160 pounds with dreadlocks. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, camo shorts and armed with a handgun.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the suspect.
