PHOENIX (AP) -- Phoenix police say two people were injured when they were struck by a car that crashed Friday morning after its occupants allegedly robbed several people in the vicinity.

Police say three men in the car allegedly robbed two people in a convenience store parking lot and that another woman who was nearby said she'd also been robbed by the men.

The car's driver lost control several blocks away from that scene. The car crashed, injuring two people at a street corner.

Three people were reportedly in the car when it crashed. They ran toward a nearby apartment complex.

One person has been arrested by police. He has been identified as Claude Glover, 22.

The victims who were hit by the car are a 25-year-old woman and 26-year-old woman. Both were transported to a hospital.
