PHOENIX -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify an auto theft suspect.

Sometime between 7:20 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, a city of Phoenix van was taken from the In-N-Out Burger parking lot at 27th Avenue and Yorkshire Drive in Phoenix.

Silent Witness coordinator Sgt. Darren Burch said the 2013 Ford E-350 Metro van had been left running with the keys in the ignition.

The van was recovered near 27th Avenue and Beardsley Road.

The video surveillance in the van captured the suspect as he drove northbound on 27th Avenue. He is described as a white male, 18 to 20 years old.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or silentwitness.org.
