GLENDALE, Ariz. -- At Westgate, it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Throughout the coming month, Westgate will be offering a lot of free holiday activities to the public.

Tuesday's festivities began with a professional ice skating performance, followed by Santa’s official arrival. Then spectators got to watch the lighting of Westgate’s giant Christmas tree and see a snowfall for the first time during the holiday season.

Fountain Park at Westgate will offer free ice skating from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., beginning Wednesday and continuing through Black Friday weekend. Skates will be provided.

Twice a night at 7 and 8 p.m., there will be snow shows. Westgate will also offer free horse-drawn carriage rides on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m., through Sat., December 21.
