FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- The storm that dropped rain and snow in Arizona over the last few days has passed, but Flagstaff is expected to have snow showers throughout much of Sunday.

Flagstaff is expected on Sunday to receive an inch or less of snow.

The northern Arizona city received 11 inches of snow from Thursday through Sunday morning.

The snow is expected to end in Flagstaff on Sunday night.

Metro Phoenix and other parts of central Arizona received between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches of rain over the course of the storm.

The storms caused cancellations of sporting events and parades and damaged the roofs of homes across Arizona.
